Sussex County Republican Women's Club of New Jersey
Any woman who is a resident of Sussex County New Jersey can become a member by registering as a republican, joining and paying dues. Members are encouraged to join a committee where they can support the club in influencing the direction of the Republican Party, our local and state government and our nation. Our members are encouraged to become involved in the election process and develop into political leaders. We support our local community and our local republican candidates, especially qualified members who are running for office.
The club operates under it’s own Bylaws which are approved by, and can only be changed by a 2/3 majority at any meeting so long as the ByLaws or changes have been distributed to all member a minimum of three days prior. Although independent, the Bylaws may not conflict with those of the NJFRW.
Members of the club also are granted membership in New Jersey Federation of Republican Women (NJFRW) the NJFRW is chartered under the auspices of the National Federation of Republican Women. Although independent, state bylaws must not conflict with the NFRW Bylaws.
Men and Women who live outside of the county who wish to participate in standing committees and club events may join but will not be permitted to vote, become Committee Chairs, Officers, Directors or serve on the Board.
